Overview
The KNIPEX crimp system pliers are designed for MC4® Evo 2 connectors with a crimping capacity of 4, 6, and 10 mm² (12, 10, and 8 AWG), meeting the professional standard for large PV (Photovoltaic) installations. The pliers feature parallel crimping die movement and precision dies with an integral lock and self releasing mechanism for repetitive, high crimping quality. A locator for precise positioning of MC4® Evo 2 connectors is included, with the crimping die and locator pre assembled for precise positioning. An additional MC4® locator, 97 49 71 1, is sold separately. The crimping pressure is precisely calibrated at the factory, and the pliers are designed for one and two handed operation. They are made from chrome vanadium electric steel in special quality and are oil hardened.
