This tester is easy to use, and the readings are clear and easy to understand. It comes with everything needed to test network cables, whether both ends are nearby or one end is in a remote location. The illuminated display is especially helpful when working in low light conditions. It even helped me find an issue with a cable that appeared fine visually but had a poor connection on one wire pair inside the Cat 8 plug.

It even helped me identify a cable that I thought was good but ended up showing that one pair of wires did not have a good connection in the cat 8 plug although it looked like it did from a visual inspection.
