The top-mounted pump lever and separate fine-lowering and release levers provide ergonomic handling and help prevent accidental release. An enclosed plastic housing protects internal components from dust and debris while helping prevent finger injuries. Protective caps on the lifting plate and base help prevent damage to finished or delicate surfaces, while the removable, non-marring pads provide a secure grip without damaging surfaces and can be detached for added versatility.
