The tapes feature an open reel design with gear drive and come in a variety of lengths and blade styles including English (with Stud and Truss), English/Metric, and all Metric. The blade is double side printed and nylon coated for added durability. Spencer ProTapes are designed with an aircraft aluminum case, alloy steel main shaft, and an active bumper to cushion blade tip on rewind. Other features include a locking brake, folding engineers hook, and a belt clip.
