Features
The Greenlee CLM-1000 Cable Length Meter is a hand-held testing device with the following measurement capabilities: resistance, temperature, and length. It can be used as μΩ meters to measure precise bonding resistances. The primary function of the meters is to calculate the length of cable based upon its material, temperature, and cable gauge. The CLM-1000 measures the length of a cable without removing it from the spool, counting turns or weighing the spool. Cable material type can be either uncoated copper or aluminum. There are 20 pre-programmed and eight programmable cable gauges.Measures these kcmil wire sizes: 250, 350, 400, 500, 600, 750, 1000
Eight user-programmable settings for other gages
Powered by (6) 1.5V AA batteries
Replacement calibration rods (pair) available as CLM-ROD, UPC 02721
Replacement Kelvin clips (pair) available as CLM-CLIPS, UPC 02722
Founded in 1862, Greenlee Tools got its start as a toolmaker when two brothers needed to manufacture their invention (a special drill surrounded by chisels). With the success of this effort, the Greenlee brothers quickly took on making other woodworking tools and other machinery including a machine that laid track for the railroad. In the mid-80s and beyond, Greenlee added on other toolmakers and diversified the kinds of tools they make and now Greenlee manufactures tools used by tradesmen in all vocations from communications to hydraulic pumps, plumbing, telecom, test equipment and many more. Greenlee is widely recognized as an industry leader for quality hand and industrial tools.
