Overview
Help prevent corrosion on metal pipe, conduit and fittings with 3M Scotchrap 51 Tape. The 20-mil thick all-weather tape is premium-grade and has a pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive on its PVC backing and also protects against impact, abrasion and punctures. Suitable for use in most weather conditions, it can be used in temperature ranges of -55 to 176 degrees F (-48 to 80 degrees C) either above or below ground.3Mâ„¢ Scotchrapâ„¢ Tape 51 Corrosion Protection Tape ensures excellent tacking and high conformability with a pressure sensitive rubber adhesive. The flexible PVC backing offers good mechanical strength and electrical insulation properties. It is highly resistant to UV rays, corrosive salt water, soil acids, alkalis, salts, chemicals and varying weather conditions. It works on straight pipes, conduits and on the field joints present on mill coated pipes. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
