Wiha 77791Some of the gifts we’ve selected for around $30 can make a perfect gift for Father’s Day, Graduation or when kids move out. The Wiha 77790 26-in-1 is normally priced at $35, but is on sale for $21.99 right now. The Wiha 77791, 77792, and 77797, are similar to the first one, but they each have a selection of bits that are tailored to different jobs. You can get a similar set of bags for $35 and either one is great for the tool user in your life. The last $50-range gift idea is actually $59.99, and it’s one of our favorite tools, and that’s the Wera Zyklopp Ratchet. This video shows just how awesome the Zyklop is. In short, the ratchet has been revolutionized to make it even easier to use. For around $50 you can grab some really good quality tools that definitely make life easier.

Gifts for $100 or Less

The last group of gift ideas are less than $100 for the most part, though a couple go slightly higher. For the increase in price though, these do get you a little more for your money. An extreme value at $60, the Klein Tools 14 pocket tool bag makes a great gift. It’s a solidly made bag to hold a small assortment of your most commonly used tools. Another great value at a similar price point is this set of Knipex Cobra pliers. You can read more about Knipex Pliers and why they’re totally worth it so jump on this or any other set of Knipex pliers.

wera bit set For the $70 - $85 range, there’s a few really good options as well, mostly in the form of bit sets. Starting off is the Wiha 39 piece security bits that includes a handle. You’ll get a good assortment of common security bit sizes making this a great value for those who need quality, high precision bits. A similar set (also in Imperial) by Wera at around $80 includes mostly standard bits, some sockets and the trademark Wera handle. The biggest value from these sets are the handles as bits do have to be replaced on occasion.

While the previous gifts were under $100, these last couple are just over, priced at $120.99, but they’re definitely great gifts if you’re planning to give someone a socket and ratchet set for a gift. It certainly would be better than any generic cheap set you might pick up at a dollar store. After all if you’re giving someone a socket set as a gift, presumably for emergencies, you’d better give them a good brand. Either set would be an excellent gift for graduation or Father’s Day (if dad works on cars) one is Imperial and the other is Metric, but both come with the Zyklop ratchet, which on its own is $60. These sets by Wera are well made, feel solid and look amazing all while coming in a tough fabric case. They’re definitely worth the price.
